My Story
I had NO Clue what Scentsy was until August 2009; I had never even heard of it! I had seen a sticker on a car at church but never questioned it. Then I heard a member from church talking about her Scentsy she got. I saw it but it wasn't turned on so I just thought; "hey that’s cute I guess'. Then at work a few weeks later I heard a coworker talking about how her sister sales it. So I asked her to get me a book. She did better than that; she brought me a book and basket testers. I spent all day playing with the scents. I made a no, yes and maybe pile of all the scents. I finally....after hours of NOT working but playing with Scentsy weeded my favorites down and placed an order. But still wasn't HOOKED! OMG...... I got my order and fell in love. Scentsy says; plug it in and you’re hooked. And boy are they right. Within days of having my order I said, "I have to have a party". "This is awesome, I have to spread the word....EVERYONE needs one of these!!!! So in August of 2009 I hosted a party. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! We had so much fun playing with the scents. Some scents brought back BAD memories...past loves, food we dislike, and even medicine we didn't care for. But MOST of the scents reminded us of GREAT things. Childhood memories, romantic vacation spots and more fantastic memories were shared, just over these little jars that had wax in them. I couldn't believe it. It was a great turn out, my sister in law and I split all the free hostess items. But that wasn't the end of my journey. I went to my husband and said, "I am thinking about selling this, what do you think". And like most men, I got the "if that’s what you want" response. So I turned to the Lord. I prayed, I prayed for days! I asked for God to give me a sign, to shine the light on the path that he wanted me to take. I didn't think I was getting an answer, but Scentsy never left my thoughts. So I finally said, "Well I guess that is my answer." On September 25, 2009 I signed up. I went for it, I jumped in feet first!!!!! I love this product. I believe in the product! Scentsy is a wonderful family to be a part of. AND it sells itself! In January 2010 I got my 1st recruit...YEAH....Now here I am in 2020 and have a team of 15......and working on making Director. This company is so passionate, and giving. I couldn't ask for a more loving team to be a part of. They offer yearly incentive trips and prizes. They have their own foundation set up which includes scholarships for children that belong to Scentsy consultants as well as a semi yearly fundraiser for a worthy cause. We have done Hope which raised over $500K for breast cancer awareness; Piece by Piece which will helped raise money for Autism awareness, and many many more! Scentsy allows you to be you; and find your own groove in whatever suites you best!!!! We have warmers, diffusers, laundry and skin care, stuff for kinds and even those stinky men! LOL You name it....SCENTSY HAS IT!!!!! This company has also brought my family closer together. My daughter loves hearing the UPS truck stop outside my house. She is the best Scentsy helper EVER!!!! Her, my husband and I all gather together on the floor to open the box or BOXES. Madison (my daughter) helps me with the labeling and my husband (Allen) helps bag the items and even assist in making deliveries for me. Thank you babe!!! Best shipping and receiving department EVER!!!! I couldn't ask for anything better. I get PAID for doing something that I LOVE!!!!! And it helps unite my family and the bond between us grows as each order is delivered. Not to mention the wonderful friends I have met along the way. These friendships will last a lifetime!
